Terms of Service
1. About us
Find Trusted Roofers is a trading name of Digital Grove Ltd. We operate a national network that connects UK homeowners with local roofers, and we act only as an introducer. Since we don't carry out roofing work ourselves, the contract for any work sits directly between you and the roofer you choose to engage.
2. Our service
When you submit a request, we match it with one or more roofers in our network. They cover your postcode and carry out the work you need. These roofers run independent businesses; they are not our employees or agents. Although we check certain credentials before a roofer joins the network (see clause 4), we don't supervise, warrant or guarantee the work they do.
3. Quotes and pricing
Homeowners use Find Trusted Roofers for free. Any quote you receive comes directly from the roofer, based on their own survey of your roof. Since we never set prices or take payment for roofing work ourselves, that quote is entirely theirs. You should always get a written quote, and you're under no obligation to proceed.
4. Verification of roofers
Before a roofer joins our network, we run checks that confirm their Companies House registration and public liability insurance. We also note any TrustMark, NFRC or CompetentRoofer membership they hold. These checks verify credentials at a point in time; they don't guarantee the quality, safety or outcome of any work. You stay responsible for satisfying yourself that a roofer suits your job.
5. Your relationship with the roofer
You and the roofer agree any terms for the work directly between yourselves, including price, timescales, guarantees and dispute resolution. We are not a party to that agreement, and we accept no liability for the roofer's performance, delay or workmanship.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we limit our liability to you for the introduction service. We also exclude liability for the acts, omissions or workmanship of any roofer in the network. However, nothing here limits any liability the law itself won't let us limit, such as for death or personal injury our own negligence causes.
7. Complaints
If you're unhappy with our introduction service, contact us via our online contact form. Please raise a complaint about the roofing work itself with the roofer directly, although we still welcome your feedback so we can review that roofer's place in our network.
8. Governing law
The law of England and Wales governs these terms. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
